Pinecrest Lake – Open

Last Plant:

Water Temp:

You may fish year round at Pinecrest lake.  Rainbow Trout are planted on a bi-weekly basis from Memorial Weekend through mid-September.

Moccassin Hatchery had devastating storm damage which impacted the entire facility.  Their plan for the upcoming season is to be working with other California hatcheries so that we can still see some plants here at Pinecrest Lake.  As of the last update, stocking the lake will be the week of April 22nd.

The lake is completely full and there are no problems launching.  The resort marina is now open.

Fishermen throughout the winter until present have caught some nice trout.  Not many limits, however the good sizes have made up for that.  Use power baits, nightcrawler’s and Rooster Tails.  No feedback from trollers as of yet.

Beardsley Reservoir – Boat ramp access will not be available this year due to the road washing out.  No reports from the afterbay.

Can drive to the dam, park on opposite side & walk to lake.  Use crawlers or power baits.
